The problem of choosing the coach and the combination of several coaches is one of the most difficult, but has a decisive influence on the progress of the player.
Take the example case: the boy was engaged for years in the group, where the coach had the title of candidate master of sports. After a few years of a child showed a good result becoming the champion of the city and region. The level of play of the young sportsmen has increased significantly, and there is just a little bit, and he will become a master of sports. Parents of such child are interested in further progress, because I see that in the sports school, he plays with everyone, including his own coach. Of course, further result of such child needs training in the workshop group, where he taught already known to the players and coaches, and students can be competitive. But it often happens that the first coach categorically opposed the transfer student. As a result, the transition happens quite painful. Parents quarrel with the first coach, which actually managed to grow from a Junior master.
How to understand this situation?
It is very important the two components – the wisdom of the first coach and understanding of the parents ‘ situation.
The perfect solution is, in which the first coach remains a consultant, and a new coach leads a student to success, opening it to a new deeper vision of chess. It is important that the trainer did not work in one plane, i.e. one worked, for example, from juniors up to a certain age, say 14 years of age and had different levels of training children.
To remain in good relations with first coach is very important for the child. As with the first trainers you can always talk to student talk, and the new coach have yet to gain credibility. Of course, such a combination is difficult, but it is the key to future success. Examples are numerous – for example, Alexander Sakharov, one of the first coaches Garry Kasparov. This wise coach started, G. Kasparov when he was 10 years old, and stayed with him faithful to winning the title of world champion. Then started to work the famous Alexander Sergeevich Nikitin, who actually was the head coach of the team Kasparov.
It is believed that the ideal collaboration between coach and pupil lasts 5-8 years, but this is all in theory.
Therefore, we can conclude that the combination of trainers is possible, but you must consider all the consequences of this. It is very important to all interested parties – coaches and parents to sit down and openly agree on further cooperation.
